Breath of Fresh Air Jewelry (bofa) is handmade by me in Burbank, CA. Burbank sits in the San Fernando Valley, one of the few Valleys out here in So Cal, making me a real California valley girl. And yes, SO like and SO not at all like the stereotype(s).

While we're known for being decently chill, my scorpio ☀︎ gemini ☾ gemini ↑ could neverrr. My whole life I've been blessed to be excited and supported in all the activities - which has made me (too) comfortable with constantly go-go-going. 

Creating will always be one of those few activities to help me slow down and take in a breath of fresh air. As a kid, my Jamma would take us to a jewelry and bead museum in Phoenix. Before leaving she'd give each of us a couple dollars to make our own piece. Over twenty years later I'm still doing it — now sourcing materials from my travels abroad and right here in the valleys and on the beaches of California.

Everything I make is inspired by the namesake of this brand, a breath of fresh air. Being outside, feeling grounded and embracing the bold and sometimes chaotic. Really loving and enjoying our connection to all that is beautiful in this world, even and especially when imperfect.

All pieces are made with love using high quality materials sourced from all over this incredible Earth. All shipping and packaging materials are compostable or can be reused; for those who also love this planet and it's people as much as I do.

My hope is when you wear bofa, you feel connected to the beauty all around and within you.
